Southern Smoke

Southern Smoke is an annual charity barbecue event benefiting the MS Society. Sponsored by several leading restaurants in Houston, Texas, the event features nationally-acclaimed chefs (each making their signature dish), wine and beer tastings, live music and more. In 2015, the event raised over $183,000 for the MS Society. During my time at Mouth Watering Media LLC, I designed and managed the development of the event’s website. The website gives foodies access to important information about the event, such as travel information, the event map, location and featured chefs. The site is built with WordPress, giving the client the ability to edit content on the fly.
